About The Restaurant
Chef Gus grew up in a Cuban household and quickly learned that quality food was an essential ingredient to good living. Upon graduating culinary school, Gus got his start working in a variety of food institutions from upscale casual to fine dining to catering small and large events. He looks forward to sharing his creativity and passion for food with the Ridge and emphasize quality and consistency to provide an excellent dining experience.
Gus brings new and fresh ideas to modern cooking and to kosher cuisine. His creativity allows him to use his knowledge of food and cooking techniques to broaden and enliven the kosher palate. On any given night, you may find him on the floor talking to customers, sharing insights of new cooking techniques or interesting ingredients on the market.
